Based on Synder's mentality of making money I think I know what he is diong. I believe that Grimm will be the head coach, Saunders sticks around to be the offensive coordinator and the guy from Tennessee to handle the defense since G Williams will leave since he was not named the head coach. Synder used Gibbs to win and most important to market the Skins. What better way to keep doing this than by hiring one of the all-time great Skins. I actually believe that this is what happening. What do you guys think? Am I on to something here?

Dan likes coaches for every area and these[Titans and Cardinals] are possible assistants to Williams after looking at what is available that the Williams promotion leaves vacant and you never know what offers other will get or who might retire

If Grimm is hired, it's not because Snyder wants a big name to market. People need to drop this mentality that every move is a marketing move.

for the love of god.....can someone please explain the love fest with GW........SEVERAL new coaches came in to new jobs in recent years and did great jobs.....

There's an assumption that GW will just move right into Gibbs' spot and everything else will remain status quo. And the best thing for this team is to keep moving as is.

However, that assumes that Williams isn't going to want to bring several of his own assistants, that he has the capacity to manage several aspects of the team (not just defense), and so on.
