When [URL="http://www.washingtonpost.com/ac2/related/topic/Joe+Gibbs?tid=informline"]Joe Gibbs[/URL] went home to [URL="http://www.washingtonpost.com/ac2/related/topic/Charlotte?tid=informline"]Charlotte[/URL] last weekend after the [URL="http://www.washingtonpost.com/ac2/related/topic/Washington+Redskins?tid=informline"]Redskins[/URL] lost to [URL="http://www.washingtonpost.com/ac2/related/topic/Seattle?tid=informline"]Seattle[/URL] in the NFC playoffs, there was a birthday party for his 3-year-old grandson, [URL="http://www.washingtonpost.com/ac2/related/topic/Sean+Taylor+%28Football%29?tid=informline"]Taylor[/URL], who has spent the last year battling leukemia. For others in the family, it was a celebration of the child's brave and so-far successful cancer treatment, with a video showing his progress. But as Gibbs watched, he noticed something.
