Madden: Wireless Help
So, I've been playing Madden for years and years, but I never bothered to buy a network adapter to play online. Now that most of my Madden-playing friends have moved out of state, I'm eager to get a network adapter. I searched for wireless adapters, but didn't find any. Could someone please let me know where I can find one? Also, what internet features are there that I've been missing out on? Is it worth shelling out the extra $$$?

Re: Madden: Wireless Help
What console do you have?
Do you need wireless? |
Re: Madden: Wireless Help
I have the PS2 (I can't bring myself to spend $400 on the PS3) and yes, unfortunately I do need wireless.

Do you play online? If so, what's great about besides having access to better gamers? |
Re: Madden: Wireless Help
You might also need this if your PS2 doesn't have an ethernet port.
Sony PlayStation 2 Online Adaptor Modem reviews - CNET Reviews I have a Xbox 360. Not sure what PS2 has to offer, If you are going to put a few hours a week playing against friends, The money is probably worth it. Not sure if there are any other benefits. I hate playing with random people online, Especially Madden. I prefer to play a realistic game with complete play calling and punting on 4th down. If you play online, you will mostly see guys just doing whatever they can to improve their rank. They couldn't careless about just having fun with the game itself. A PS2 player should jump in and give you a better Idea of what PS2 Online offers, I'm obviously bitter about my online Madden experience. |

Thanks jamf. Much appreciated.

Re: Madden: Wireless Help
I've never been a big fan of playing random people online in Madden either. Way too much cheese out there. It's great fun playing against someone you know though. Someone who appreciates playing Madden the way it should be played.

Re: Madden: Wireless Help
What about a wireless adaptor for 360? how much do they usually run for? I dont have a modem nearby, it sucks.

Re: Madden: Wireless Help
That same adapter above should work fine for the 360 too. I have something pretty similar.

Re: Madden: Wireless Help
I didn't like playing random people at first, but I've learned it can be fun. If you're decent, just be prepared to finish out a lot of games against the computer, though...
I still have yet to get a game with anyone from the warpath. I entered in so many gamertags into my friends list but haven't actually played with any of you... |

Ok I was surfing the web I found this website saying you can use your laptop to pick up wireless for the XBox. Anyone tried this? Go wireless with your XBox 360, without the $100 MS adapter |
Re: Madden: Wireless Help
