Come on Gmen!!!

I like that kid Bradshaw, he's made some bone head plays but at the same time some good ones. Hopefully the G-man will settle and start scoring. They've outplayed NE so far. I think Brady is suffering from RomoSimpsonitis, Gisele is at the game!!

Re: Super Bowl discussion thread

The Giants have done a great job getting to Brady tonight, and why shouldn't they? They have three great D ends . . . Strahan, Umeniora (sp), and Justin Tuck. I think that is the best solution for the modern dominance of the Pass Oriented, Offensive Minded Team led by an elite QB. If Brady doesn't have time to throw, Moss can't catch TD's. This why I am of the mind that drafting a DE is an imperative for the Skins this offseason. If AC and said drafted DE were able to put up a total of 20+ sacks/season between the two of them, we would be a much better team, and we wouldn't lose to the Patriots (or any one else for that matter) 52-7.

SFREDSKIN 02-03-2008 08:10 PM

Re: Super Bowl discussion thread

I totally agree!! I was bummed we didn't draft Tuck a few years ago.

At least the Giants D seems to be stopping the Pats. Hope it continues.

I know people love how the Pats have no fear, but I don't think I would have gone for it on 4th and 13 there

Re: Super Bowl discussion thread

Interesting stats:

"9 — Combined winning margin for New England in its three Super Bowl victories. The Patriots were a dynasty by a sliver."

"14 — Lowest score ever by a Super Bowl winner. Curious, the team that did it. The 1972 Miami Dolphins defeated the Washington Redskins 14-7 and remain the only unbeaten Super Bowl champion in history. The historical day required only two touchdowns."

This game is SICK!

Maybe we should Spags, Gilbride and Coughlin :)

Definitely one of the best super bowls I've seen

Definitely will go down in NFL history as one of the biggest upsets.

Up until now I always felt it was the Redskins losing in Super Bowl XVIII.

Not no more!

18-1 never sounded so perfect to me.

Belichek can go cry in his heap of spy tapes of the other teams.

KARMA Running up the score. Taping other teams. Not wearing Sean Taylor's number on their helmets. Eat it, Patriots. Taste the defeat!

Any respect I had for the Pats went out the window when BB pulled a Randy Moss and left the field early. Losing couldn't happen to a better guy.

So much for being perfect. Gotta love it.

Great game Giants.....Belidickhead looked wicked bad walking off the field like he did. Had to rob the Giants of the limelight in their kick ass victory. Brady looked like he was growing fond of the taste of grass.....man you gotta love it.

The game WAS over. He may not have even known there was a second left. But he is little bitchy most of the time so who knows. Either way he team got out coached on Sunday. Straight up.

This result really didn't suprise. I said if the Giants could keep the game close, they would have a chance in the end. The game reminded me of the type games we play against them.

Re: Super Bowl discussion thread

I'd like to see someone (Redskins!) go a perfect 19-0 and shut those Dolphins (Mercury Morris especially) up.

That Manning to Tyree play is going to go down in history as one of the best in SB history

18-1 now that's perfect

not so sure about out coached, as much as out played. the giants hac some amazing plays there towards the end, especially that manning pass to tyree.

WillH 02-03-2008 10:17 PM

Re: Super Bowl discussion thread

So, Eli is legit. That Tyree catch was ridiculous. Giants D is where its at, and we should steal Spagnuolo. The 2007 New England Patriots are officially not the best team in history!!

Re: Super Bowl discussion thread

They held a team that had scored north of 35 points a game to 14 points and essentially ONE good drive all game. The rest of the time they beat the crap out Brady and did a decent job offensively. I think they got out Belicheked.

What a game! Congrads Giants! I'm glad you knocked them off their horse, job WELL DONE!

18-1, The Pats are nothing more than another second place team. (Job incomplete Billecheat!)

We'll have to agree to disagree. He's essentially the D coordinator and his boys were going back on the field. Sack up and take it like they gave it all season long.

excellent game.
Belicheck is a jerk.
I'm liking the result!
