The best WR Potentially and Skill-wise in the Draft...

Xavier Carter.

6'3. 4.30 40 time... I said POTENTIAL and Skill set. One thing that it is virtually impossible to teach is speed. Assuming he is floating around in the 4th round... It would be stupid not to knab him. However, considering we are speaking on matters PRE-Combine, I think he may completely blow away scouts. He is a player that can do just about everything. He had a moderate college career, but there were inconsistencies at the QB position throughout his tenure at LSU.

When I say inconsistency, I do not mean from the Talent pool. I mean in regard to the number of targets that were ahead of him for the majority of his career. I do not want to highlight the names, but if yu oare curious, review the 1st - 3rd round(s) of the NFL draft over the past 3 years. All those LSU WRs made this TRACK STAR's football development non existent. He is not Michael Lewis. He is not Terrel Owens. He is somewhere inbetween. Nonetheless, considering we already have Randle El, Moss, Mix (he will earn looks i promise), Caldwell and possibly a FA addition, I think that if we put some weight on him, he could turn out to be another deep threat and redzone target.

He is ALSO SEC pedigree.

I have been on many forums, and I am not an amateur by ANY means. Although my numerical contributions to THIS forum is currently low, I would like to tell all:

I will ALWAYS speak with SEC bias. Bottom line the best fleet of athleticism in the history of collegiate sports.

I will always say what I feel is best for my Redskins, Purple Eagles, Hoyas, Plainsmen (figure that out) and Bullets (no respect to new Magical team name).

Sorry if I offend ANYONE, but I may just offend YOU someday. I didnt mean it. I was probably inebriated late night checking my email, and talking trash. Call it drunk sports punditry.

What an odd post. Why that last line?

no thanks. moderate college careers don't usually translate too well, and we've had a ton of fast guys in the league that have been totally useless before.

I was stupid drunk early this morning... chilling wit the fellas, watching the fight, and just shooting the sh@t... you know.

He is a very talented prospect. I think he will impress the scouts, and you may hear some good things about him.

Except the redskins dont have a 4th round pick, making it tough to pull of such a feat.

Sorry I sorta like the guy...I believe he's from Arizona...the WR Monk. Yes the name is part of it but I think he looks good and could prosper in our new offense.

Dats him. Arizona, Alabama, Arkansas. It's an "A-Team". lol. Someone else mentioned him and I started watching him. I thought he was pretty good. Someone who could develope well in the pro's. I believe his speed and size was not that far off.

I also would like to see us pick up Manley in the later rounds if he is available. yes, I'm thinking old school, but he is only a couple inch shorter then the #1 DE on the board and seems to be a little heavier and as fast. I would just hope he would develope also.

Plus Marcus Monk falls into the name game. Just like all the Jim's DS interviewed and all the Campbells we have on the team why not add another Marcus?

I understand the post from a pure speculation perspective, but where are the stats for the rest of us to see?
