Warrick Dunn Free Agent
Warrick Dunn asked to be released after the Falcons acquired Michael Turner. I think Dunn would be a huge addition to the Redskins and/or any team in the league (other than Falcons). World class person and player. Thoughts?

Re: Warrick Dunn Free Agent
Great person and player but I don't see how we could possibly need him when we already have a highly paid, highly effective backup in Betts.

Re: Warrick Dunn Free Agent
Damn good back, but were could we use him?

Why would we take Dunn? Is T.J. Duckett not available? |

I know this is a joke but there is absolutely no comparison here...Dunn would certainly fit in a west coast offense...his only problem is he is getting old... I definately dont want to see him in the NFC east...unless with us. He is still arguably better than Betts for our offense |
Re: Warrick Dunn Free Agent
I'd rather use that money on trying to bring Rock back.
I think we're pretty set at RB with Portis and Betts. |

Re: Warrick Dunn Free Agent
IMO we do not need another small back, we already have three.
I know Dunn is a great person and a good player but given our other higher priority needs Dunn (not so cheap running back) seems like a luxury not a necessity. If we were to get another RB let's get a big back to compliment our current small backs. |
Re: Warrick Dunn Free Agent
I wasn't aware Dunn could play Dline/Oline/CB/WR. I thought that was where we needed help.

I'm sure Dunn want's to play, that's why he wanted out of Atlanta because they acquired Turner, and he realized his opportunities were going to be limited. With Portis and Betts, I don't see him having much of an opportunity here, despite the fact he is a tremendous human being who has done good things in the community. RB is not a position targeted as need. |
Re: Warrick Dunn Free Agent
no good for us.

Re: Warrick Dunn Free Agent
dude he doesnt't want to play second fiddle..thats why he wanted to leave the falcons..he won't sit behind clinton and split carries with betts
