I am hoping you are talking about there defense, because from what I can see from there stats there offense is moving the ball pretty good against a good defense.

SUNRA 08-19-2004 09:09 PM

I'm not overly immpressed with Manning at all. He over threw a pass for a touchdown and the ball movement is because of Tiki Barber.

SUNRA 08-19-2004 09:10 PM

Boy, If we had Stephen Davis Back! He's killing the Giants.

SUNRA 08-19-2004 09:13 PM

The Giants suck. And I can't wait until September 19. I will be in the Giant's house representing the Skins'

That Guy 08-19-2004 09:13 PM

their run defense is even worse than their passing D... i'm gonna be loving giants week.

I am not able to watch the game due to me being at work, but I am watching the stats and play by play on nfl.com.

E. Manning 7/12 for 102yards
T. Barber 6 carries for 22 yards.

The numbers tell me that manning is the one moving the ball down field not BARBER

Sometimes stats can be misleading. The Giants offensive line is going to get Manning killed in the regular season if he starts.

I was referring to that particular ball posession. I missed the Giants first two possesions. Warner is getting creamed. His first two attempts were sacks.

illdefined 08-19-2004 09:33 PM

i miss Stephen Davis. Gibbs woulda loved him. sniff.

Redskins8588 08-19-2004 09:34 PM

Well thats fine with me if the O-line sucks but Manning is just a Rookie and for him to go 9/15 for 117 yards against a very good Defense does not sound bad to me. He might be over throwing his recievers and what not but this is only his second game. I am not saying that I like Eli or I am rooting for him I am just interested in how he played against a starting D and like I said I am at work so his actual play maybe pretty bad but his numbers look ok to me.

Gmanc711 08-19-2004 09:36 PM

The Panthers look really well. They moved the ball very efficently with Delhome, Davis and Smith.

Point well taken.

Eli is getting decent yards between the 20's, but when he gets in the redzone he hasn't done crap.
