re: Jesse Jackson on Barack Obama
For the love of God Jesse Jackson... please... just go away.
Go away Jesse Jackson. Forever. |
Re: Jesse Jackson on Barack Obama
Jesse Jackson is a joke. It is leaders like him who are such a detriment to the African American community. I probably won't vote for Obama but his words to black males couldn't be truer. I applaud him for being frank and honest about something that most of society won't even talk about. JJ = bozo.

Re: Jesse Jackson on Barack Obama
obama's right, jackson's wrong here, and it's not close.
obama was raised by a single parent wasn't he? so maybe he's, you know, qualified to talk about how important it is to have two parents involved in your life. jesse needs to go away. |
Re: Jesse Jackson on Barack Obama
What Jessie keeps forgetting is that Obama is both white and black. So that is probably why he can't fully get behind Obama. I think Jessie has lost his relavence as a leader. Get him around his close pals and he probably talks like J. Wright. What a hypocrite. I just wish people could just be people and not a race of people.

Re: Jesse Jackson on Barack Obama
It's unfortunate that someone had to inject race into the campaign.

I think he's looking more for clarification. I am unsure of what your intentions are with this comment too:
It is leaders like him who are such a detriment to the African American community.
|
Re: Jesse Jackson on Barack Obama
He implies that Jesse Jackson is a leader of the African American community and I don't know who anointed Jesse Jackson a leader. Last time I checked there hasn't been some sort of an election where I got to vote for him. Same goes for Sharpton, Farrakhan, etc, etc.
Secondly he takes the leap and basically implies that Jesse Jackson is a determinate to the entire African American community. I mean WTF does that mean, we're being judged based on what Jesse Jackson does or says? How would you like for me to judge all Italians based on Antonin Scalia or Rudy Giuliani which are inividuals I and many like minded people don't think highly of? Are they leaders of the Italian American Community? |
