Now I'm squarely in the Obama camp, but boy this comes off as pandering if I ever saw it.

LOL...BAM is big time whoring itself to anyone willing to fork some cash. They asked both candidates if they're willing to sponsor them and their driver is a card caring republican. No thanks.

Would the car have had a slogan like "Your guns are mine!" on it?

Perhaps "Change...tires every 50 laps."

He would have definitely put himself amongst a group of people who don't like him...

Too bad this won't happen...maybe Tony Stewart would have put the Obama car in the wall on the first lap. :)
