Final Fantasy 13 coming to 360!
 

To be released simultaneously in North America and Europe. Wow, what a blow for Sony. This pretty much leaves Metal Gear - a series which is now over - as the only meaningful exclusive for the PS3. Looks like I might have one more FF run left in the tank.

Interesting, I might have to give it a try. I've played 7,8, and 10. Great games! Any details on the story?

No details that I am aware of, but I think there's a good chance it will involve a spiky haired hero and a buxom sidekick, a world in peril, powerful crystals, betrayal, war, flying boats, and people riding giant chickens. In other words, it will be AWESOME!

Smooter, did you ever try Final Fantasy 4 for the SNES? It is being released in 3D on the DS next week. If you liked 7,8, and 10, I would really recommend giving this one a go.

Nah, the main FF games are related in theme alone, and do not recycle characters or even worlds. Recently, square has been pumping out a lot of FF 7 and FF 12 "spin-off games," for example, Crisis Core for PSP and Revenant Wings for DS. But you can count on 13 being an entirely new story.
