One-year deal - $605,000 Considering he was a 1st round pick, he's fallen quite a bit. |

In a run first offense he could be really good if he doesn't get hurt, especially when paired with a grinder like Matt Forte. Really the Bears never should have gotten rid of another Jones who matriculated in the state of Virginia, but live and learn I guess. |
Re: Bears sign Kevin Jones
ZOMG Vet min lol. But good pickup for the Bears. I man crush Matt Forte but going into a season with one good back isn't really a good idea, though I still have hope that Georgia Southern Alum Adrian Peterson might be able to do something.
Plus the revenge factor should help Jones average at least 4 YPC. This r lo rick high reword. |
Re: Bears sign Kevin Jones
Wow. Good pickup for them though considering the glaring hole they have at running back. I know they drafted Matt Forte, but you need a vet back like Jones. He is very good, he just played for a bad team IMO.
Best thing the Bears did since they signed B. Lloyd, oh...wait a minute.... |
Re: Bears sign Kevin Jones
Jones has been underrated for years, problem is, he's never healthy. The Bears got a steal, and they should know, they played him twice a year. This helps their offense a lot...especially on check downs since he's a top notch RB receiver.
