Fred Davis has signed

The Skins signed TE Fred Davis, their last remaining un-signed draft pick, and will have a full compliment of picks at the start of camp.
Running around here and will post the terms as soon as I get them. Likely a four year deal in the range of $2 million guaranteed and vet minimum base salaries, but I'll get the exact figures later. The Skins released long-injured TE Tyler Ecker, a 2007 draft pick, to make room for Davis on the 80-msn roster. Ecker underwent surgery on both sides of his groin in the spring after missing OTAs.
Jim Zorn is doing a presser at noon and then it all gets started at 8:30 Sunday morning.

I cannot imagine how much it must suck to have surgery on both sides of your groin.

Welcome to the fold Fred Davis, the blocking sled awaits!

Ecker sure has had a tough time with injuries. With Davis on board he's a long shot to make the team.

I wonder if the cost of an alarm clock was deducted from his signing bonus.

Someone was going to say it!

Man, how much better is it to have 3 2nd round picks instead of a 1st and second? Everybody will be at camp on time, probable saved money and cap space and no superstar ego's to contend with. I really have to hand it to the FO on how they handled that last draft. I hope they trade back every year.

i like rookie contracts that look like 4 year, 1.6-5mill... those things are tiny.
