JC is not what I thought.
Hey I love this team, but that was pitiful. That guy is ???????. Just my opinion, but that JC kid was pathetic with that QB play. The Giants knew it from the start.

Man although i agree, you are really asking for it with this thread

Re: JC is not what I thought.
i agree with you, he continues to hestiate on his throws. for someone who says he has trust in his receviers he sure is not showing it
|
Re: JC is not what I thought.
........no turnovers, 1 sack against a great d-line, no help from the receivers I don't get how he was pathetic?
|
Re: JC is not what I thought.

Schneed will be around with his "Retarded Thread" very soon. :goodjob: While I agree JC was pretty pathetic, I'm not ready to give up on him. It's a new offense, first week. Give him some more time. |

That wasn't a joke. I'm not asking for jack. I'm asking for a QB that isn't a bitch. |

hmmm.. now that's what I call an insult! |
Re: JC is not what I thought.
There's much more to it than the play of your QB. JC didn't look great tonight, but name me someone who did who wasn't returning kicks. JC gets a pass in my book until it becomes obvious that he is the weakest link.

Re: JC is not what I thought.
JC didn't lose this game. We got whipped on both lines of scrimmage.

Re: JC is not what I thought.
Here's the question you have to ask:
Are Campbell's problems related to learning a new offense, or is he regressing in key facets of game play that would show up in any offensive scheme? According to the sideline reporter from NBC tonight (can't think of her name), Zorn said Campbell "has to read the defense." This is Campbell's fourth season in the league and Zorn has to remind him to do that? It doesn't help that the same group of offensive linemen from last season apparently have all forgotten how to pass block. |
Re: JC is not what I thought.
Jason's got a lot to learn with this offense. It's obvious. He still has to learn to get rid of the ball earlier. But ya know, Zorn also needs to learn to manage the game better as well. This year is going to be a learning process for both the coaches and the players. If you're expecting perfection right out of the gate, you're seriously mentally ill.

Campbell was 15/27 for 133 yards and 1 TD. "The key to this game was third down efficiency. The Giants were sharp when it counted most, converting 7-of-14 for the game. On their four first-half scoring drives, they were even better, delivering on 5-of-8 third downs. On the flip side, the Giants' defense was just as dominant on third down, holding the Redskins to just three conversions in 13 attempts and forcing Campbell to throw short of the first-down marker repeatedly throughout the game" "Jim Zorn made his coaching debut for the Redskins and showed his West Coast offense still has a ways to go. The Redskins had only 174 total yards and only 98 through the air. ..." All this = Not good. Pathetic may be strong. But it was definitely bad. |
