Is this really threadworthy? It seems like a rather gratuitous attack on religion. I could do ten threads a day like this, but I don't want to waste people's time. There should be no question now that the architect of this site is a full blown extremist. He hid it well for a season, but the political winds have blown away his fig leaf.

I'm not going as far as 70, but IMO I don't really see any positive discussion coming from this thread.

How is this article a gratuitous attack on religion?

If the article was about a boyscout leader selling coke at boys camp, Would you classify that as a gratuitous attack on boyscouts or kids camps?

The Architect's political fallacies aside, I don't think this has anything to do with religion. More so with irony. It's just one of those "can you believe that actually happened?" stories.

I agree with SS. I didn't take this thread as an attack on religion.

To bring some humor to the situation......If I posted a story about a government [URL="http://www.bmj.com/cgi/content/full/332/7543/685-a?rss"]retraining prostitutes to become nursing home aides[/URL], I wouldn't be attacking prostitutes or old people, I would simply be relaying an amazing story.

If your time has been wasted it was self inflicted, because no thread here requires a response from anyone.

And further more, just F off. Extremist? LOL whatever. If finding a story of a priest selling coke to be shocking or having a problem with the past 8 years of Bush makes me an extremist, I'll wear that badge with honor.
