Plaxico is a great player, but he seems immature. This doesn't surprise me at all.

So... with the bye he get's an extra week of vacation while his team plays the almighty seahawks? Sounds like a win-win for the giants and plax.

It's interesting to hear that they expected him to play more of a leadership role as part of his contract extension and that he has not satisfied that. Sounds like someone who, in spite of his talents, has never really grown up.

Yeah, my thoughts exactly. They have probably wanted to suspend him before this, but decided to wait for the bye week to do it.

Means he only misses one game. Does not send a positive message, if it were a guy that was #3 on the depth chart, you could bet he would have been suspended for 2 games, and not 1 game and a previuosly scheduled week off anyway.

The beginning of the end for this fluke team. I hate the Giants as much as the Cowboys. I can't wait to for the seed of chaos rears its ugly head and the streak of losses begin to happen because believe me its going to happen. No Burress to throw a miracle pass to next week.

Yeah I see them struggling without him. He's pretty insturmental in that offense. Every big giants win has his fingertprints all over it. Here's hoping they lose.

Yeah I hope that they lose as well. Plaxico is a great player, but he needs to start earning that extension that he got. There is no reason for him not show up when he supposed to. I just wished he had done this before the Redskins game and we might have had a chance.

anyone have an idea on what he did? i have been nosing around, and cant find anything? another guy , in a long list of guys, that lets his mental attitude get in the way of some awesome physical skills. could be a team issue for the giants

Still don't know what happen and why,I do know he is appealling .I like the decision,he's part of the team and he has the same rules to follow as everyone else.From what I know there is no contest that he screwed up just that the punishment does'nt fit the crime.I have no problem with it....I'm with Coughlin on this ...win or lose.:benched:

Drew Rosenhaus was just on NFL Live. He admitted that there was an infraction but that the punishment does not fit the crime. It seems to me like this wasnt the first time this or something like this happened. At any rate, I believe Eli is just an average quaterback without Plax, we'll see what happens.

I've grown to admire this guy as a player. He was only a 3rd option in Pittsburgh to become one of the top 5 in the league now..He is the throw the ball up there and i'll get it guy.
