FedEx Field Rankings Among NFL Stadiums (merged)
I can vouch for the affordability at the games, it costs an arm and a leg

I'm surprised its as high as it is. Considering the outrageous cost and inconvenience of getting there I am amazed that people even show up.

Scroll down under Stadium Atmosphere..... "An Eagles fan, after running his mouth for about three quarters, was given the option to shut up or be tossed off the top of the stadium."
I find that funny as hell! |
re: FedEx Field Rankings Among NFL Stadiums (merged)
I hate all the Fed Ex bashing. I enjoy going to games at Fed Ex Field. I love that we have the biggest stadium in the league. It's not perfect but it's far from the dump that some people call it. All Redskins fans loved RFK but in reality RFK was an old dump...what we love is really that all our best memories are there not neccessarily the building itself. If the Redskins had a couple Super Bowl teams in Fed Ex and built some history here people would start to get attached to it IMO.

FedEx is pretty bad IMO. It has no character.

Well one problem with ticket prices is that the true fan is rarely there. I had great seats to the Arizona game but the seats around me were full of people wearing polos.
It really was upsetting. Go to a game in Philly, Pitt, Green Bay, I doubt it's it would be like that. Also people like RFK because it was a hell of a lot louder. For housing 90k+ FedEX doesnt get loud. |

Re: NFL stadium rankings-fed ex field is 25th
The stadium itself is ok, but the atmoshpere is fairly corporate, and there are always a lot of fans of the opposing team there. The view is pretty good even from the 400's. My biggest beef is the fact that the beers are $9.
What I will say though; if they ever rate the top tailgate friendly parks, FedEx should be in the top 5, easy. It' a giant friggin party/cookout. Ten plus acres of food, booze, and fun. I'm going to the Skins/Ravens game later this season, but it's in Baltimore. I can't say that I'm looking forward to tailgating underneath an overpass, in some Baltimore back alley... |

down here in my part of the world at the martinsville speedway not only do they charge 9$ for a small bag of ice, they charge 6 for 1 slice of pizza and 6 bucks for 1 beer.and
the sad thing about it is they only do it on nascar race weekends, when it's modified or bush cars,it's regular price.they also charge you 40$$ just to park your car!that's why i'll never go to a race there. |
re: FedEx Field Rankings Among NFL Stadiums (merged)
The article and the polling are poorly done. The team rankings are all FUBAR.
The Texans stadium is ranked #15 and the Cardinals is #21 !?? 2 years ago there wasn't barely anyone showing up in either of those stadiums! Yet we are ranked below them?? Not that I'm a fan....but I'm pretty sure the history at Candlestick and the Metrodome should be placed up the list a ways. |
re: FedEx Field Rankings Among NFL Stadiums (merged)
I agree, I would take that further and urge all sports fans to view any sports "polls" to be taken with a grain of salt.
These guys do not take into account any confounding variables, statistical significance, etc. Basically they really don't mean anything. |
Re: NFL stadium rankings-fed ex field is 25th
$40 to park at any event is a travesty. I haven't been to Fed-Ex in awhile. But HOW much is it to park there now!? That's if you can even get a damn spot!
