Redskins set record
Posted by ESPN.com's Matt Mosley
LANDOVER, Md. -- According to a sheet of paper someone in a burgundy shirt just handed me, the Redskins' current streak of 309 pass attempts without an interception is an NFL record. The old record was 281 by the Oakland Raiders in 2001. Here's the breakdown: Jason Campbell -- 201 Todd Collins -- 105 Antwaan Randle El -- 2 Clinton Portis -- 1 Link: ESPN - Redskins set record - NFC East |

Re: Redskins set record
collins threw those picks in the postseason in between though.
hopefully campbell can run it up himself soon enough. |
Re: Redskins set record
I like how he throws in the fact that his information was provided by someone in a "burgundy shirt" -- implying that it must somehow be faulty.

Re: Redskins set record
didn't TC throw a pick in the playoff game vs Seattle

Which is why JC is our future and we must retain him at all costs. I don't want there to be any chance of us losing him. Having him go to another team and becoming successful like so many others have gone onto that we've let go.

Or that the record only means something to someone who roots for the Skins perhaps? |
Re: Redskins set record
It was actually Bernie Kosar from the '90 Browns that held the record at 308. How ironic.

do you remember what team he won a super bowl with at the end of his career? (hint-they got bitch slapped yesterday and fox switched games when it was declared"non competitive". |

He still holds it (and Jeff George is third!). This record is the team record. If Campbell can keep this going for 3-4 more games I reckon he'll break the individual record. I just hope we don't lose any games protecting the record! |
Re: Redskins set record
you know the skins break this record, and the cowboys get bitch slapped and humiliated,
and that's all espn is talking about.not one MFing time did they say something about this cause they were wasting time crying about those asswipe cowboys!!!!!!!! |
