Headsets always turn out to be a problem for all teams the day after they lose a game!

Yes this isn't breaking news by any means. Zorn was fuming, as well he should be this is very important and has been a frequent problem. That completely hoses the timing and rhythm of your offense totally up.

Typing your post in red with no capitalization poses something of a communication problem in and of itself.

There was a piece in the Wash Post saying that Zorn was going to meet with the equipment guys in an effort to get this problem fixed.

I heard the tech guy screwed up and got our head sets mixed up with the Steeler's head sets.

I'm sure that Zorn was pissed. You can't have that happen at home. Not that it should happen on the road, mind you, but at home you theoretically have complete control of the situation.

You must improvise in this hi-tech era, headphones weren't used in the old days not so long ago. Communication problems or not, this team got their asses kicked by a team that wanted it more.

Really? jeez that is about as bad as it can get, maybe thats why the steelers D seemed to know what was coming. lol. The skins have had problems with the headsets for years now, i know other stadiums have problems too so i cant say if fedex has more problems than most, it would be interesting to see what stadiums have the most problems then seeing if there is a correlation or common factor like an airport nearby or distance the frequency has to travel etc.

The NFL is in control of the headsets and not the home teams right?
- if so they should really try to work this out, weve had headsets for awhile now and problems still exist at the same frequency as 4 years ago it seems.

Do you think all those lil head radio sets danny sells to fans to find out other NFL scores may be screwing up the frequency?
- i'll bet cash money danny is the only owner to not show other nfl scores and charge money for radio headsets with other scores.

go skins!

That's true, but teams prepare with the anticipation that the technology will be available to them. I'm sure they have some contingencies planned for, but probably not the entire playbook.

That's a fact.

Re: Redskins communication problems

i can't think but there is some type of device in which somebody in the stands or press boxes could'nt break in and listen to,or disrupt communication frequencies between both teams.if they are transmitting, there has to be a way to tap into it is'nt there?

I've heard stories about opposing teams 'losing' communication in Fedex, but maybe we're just inept, not dirty.
