re: Zorn feels like worst coach in America.
i feel for the guy.
Credskins made a good point in another thread; Id like to see danny come out and give coach zorn a public endorsement that the organization is behind him, have full faith in him and that he will be the coach next year. come on danny, this is the time when an owner should be looking to instil alil confidence and leadership. (please dont publicly endorse him now and fire him this offseason thoo) go skins!! this is a great opportunity for danny to show us what hes learned the past 10 years. will he step up? will he show he knows when an owner of a team must be heard? |
re: Zorn feels like worst coach in America.
Snyder was embarrassed by the Skins losing to the Bengals. Of course Danny deserves a lot of the blame for having Vinny in the front office and for naming Zorn a head coach before his time. Bottom line: Snyder will fire Zorn and retain Vinny.

re: Zorn feels like worst coach in America.
Danny never talks to the press or releases a statement during the season unless something tragic (ST's death) happens. He won't be making a statement until after the season is over.

re: Zorn feels like worst coach in America.
Has Snyder ever said he might release Zorn?

Reverse, reverse! keep Zorn, fire Vinny "Yes Daddy Danny" Cerrato |
re: Zorn feels like worst coach in America.
That article just doesn't capture it. On TV he sounded so sad. He looked like he was about to cry! Made me want to give him a hug...............

Would it be possible to hold onto JZ as an OC and sign someone else as a HC?

To be honest Zorn's biggest issue is theO so why would we want to keep him on as OC? |

i hope we keep Zorn if we don't i bet Seattle will drop Mora and go after their native son |
re: Zorn feels like worst coach in America.
Growing pains. Life lessons learned. It was good to hear him examine himself, and will ultimately benefit himself and his relationship with the team.
what doesn't kill you........ |
re: Zorn feels like worst coach in America.
I applauded Snyder when he hired Jim Zorn and I'm still on the Zorn bandwagon. I think we could be a much better team without some players making self serving statements. We need to have a good draft in 2009, but it's hard to do that when you've given up almost half of your choices.

re: Zorn feels like worst coach in America.
I'm fine with Zorn leading this team. I was glad to hear him take some of the blame and I think he's the kind of guy who will learn from his mistakes. He's learning on the job, but that's what happens when you hire a guy with no headcoaching experience. I think Gibbs felt a little lost his first year too, but he turned out pretty good. I think Zorn will too given the opportunity.

Sorry bud, but this keeping a possible lemon HC for the sake of trying to establish continuity is downright stupid. The guy has lost the team, as the season has unraveled before our very eyes. The last time we kept a coach for continuity's sake was when John Cooke was the owner and he stuck by Norv all that time. At least Norv had a decent offensive scheme going for him, not much else though. He didn't lose the team either, just was too laid back and didn't inspire them or give em a swift kick in the ass when needed. |
re: Zorn feels like worst coach in America.
I hope Zorn gets a chance & they fire the players that are laying down.
