Game Ball....
Mine goes to both Portis and the Defense. I didn't know Portis was that fast. Matt Bowen was just a monster today. I'm really tempted to give the game ball to just him instead of the whole defense.
he showed up today, hopefully its a trend.
Id give week ones game ball to greg williams.
absolutly skinsncanes, coach greg gets the game ball. hands down. boy they were agressive. hope they keep it up.
I think he gets it simply for his 'enthusiastic' celebrations! :)
Offense-Portis
Defense-Bowen, Arrington, Smoot, Pierce, Washington-ah the entire D.........Coach Williams......... |
Bowen,Arrington,Smoot, hell the whole defense.Portis,Brunell, the -o line and john hall get game balls.i also think that williams, gibbs, and bugel deserve one for the game plan they came up with.i would also give a game ball to one dan snyder for coaxing gibbs out of retirement.
Portis and Gibbs get my gameball.
Bowen, Pierce, Portis
I voted coachign staff. But would vote defense if coaches didnt count.
Other than Bowen, no one in particular on D struck me as really impressive. However, the defense as a whole was awesome. The game ball goes to.....Gregg Williams.
Gotta give it to the o-line. How many sacks did we give up? Chris Samuals did a great job, especially coming off a sprained ankle. One play he blocked out Rice and was still able to stick out his left arm and hold off another pass rusher. It saved Brunnel from getting crushed.
What a turn around from thier last meeting!!! :party-smi |
Tough call, lots of good choices here. The defense was spectacular but at the same time the Bucs offense doesn't really put fear in anyone. The Bucs D on other hand is still pretty strong, with guys like Brooks and McFarland leading the way. And the offensive line was phenomenal in protecting Brunell and creating holes for Portis
So I give the game ball to the offensive line |
Defense!!!!!!!!
Without a crappy special teams play and crappy handoff the score is 16-0. |
Ill also give one to the D-line. The run defense was phenominal (sp?) and I think Jermaine Haley got some pressure on Brad Johnson.
