Wow. Kinda makes Zorn look like a careful, conservative pick by comparison!

I hope he's really good and we beat the brakes off the Bucs next year. Bringing up as high as they can go so we can learn to beat really good teams.

Raheem was actually starting to get alot of HC talk. Zorn was not. |

Yeah, I think he was going to interview for Denver. But still, he just got promoted from DB coach to DC and he's only 32. Sounds like the same scenario as Zorn except for the age difference. Him and Tomlin coached DB's together. I guess he's shown the same potential as Tomlin. I wish him luck. Coaches are getting younger and younger in this league which is not a bad thing. |

Yea, i heard his name come up in some coaching searches. I think he is thought of highly, but yes, a little suprising that he would get hired so young. |

A lot of his former and current players seem to really love Morris, something that was missing it seems with Gruden. And yes, the Broncos and Rams interviewed (or at least were slated to) him, but let's not pretend that his credentials were the main reason front offices were interviewing him. |

He acted every bit of the 32 year old he is. Don't get me wrong, it's okay to be excited, but he was babbling like he just won a grade school raffle. He seems like a good position coach, but this is a very risky hire IMO. And please no one start with Zorn comparisons- Zorn is 22 years older and has been around the league much longer. |
Re: And Raheem Morris is the new Bucs coach
I don't think there's anything inherently "risky" with hiring a young coach. Sure, you don't know a lot about him, and the same goes for any coach who hasn't held a similar (or identical) position before. I don't think that makes it a dangerous hire or anything of the sort. Just my take on young coaches.

Re: And Raheem Morris is the new Bucs coach
Give the guy a chance evidentally , even though he was interviewed by those other teams he must have something ...let's see how he does ...I mean Kiffin was a position coach innnnn College man Tampa can hire whover the ^$*$&^£ they want too. I'm concerned with whoo The Redskins hire...
