My tribute to SEan Taylor.

I meant to share this with the board much sooner, but I needed pictures and I finally have pictures that have internet addresses. I will keep this short but it does have a pretty unpredictable ending. Maybe that is unless you are a Redskins Fan.

First off I need to let you guys know I have a small race team which runs races with National Auto Sport Association, the South East Region. I wrecked my car at the end of 2007 and for the first race of the 2008 I had to run the car in a primer color because we didnt have enough time to finish all the repairs. Anyway I was planning and did run under Sean's number for the first race weekend of the year, but the car still had no paint. I think it was a fitting color for the job, and did look kinda cool. On the door of the car in the picture below I ran with the #21 with S.M.T. underneath and a very little redskins sticker next to his intials.

On Saturday I qualified 3rd overall and finshed the race in the same position as well as taking a win in my class. Sunday was a different story. I started in the same position, but I did fall back to 4th and second in class for most of the race. On the second to last lap my hood pins broke and my hood was flapping about a foot and a half open and was about to break completey off at 123mph. So I had to pit to repair the hood. I lost a ton of time and was very far back, anyway my final overall finishing position was 21st overall. After being witness to all the strange things that happened at the end of the 2007 season after Sean's death it really didn't feel that strange, but did make me think. I have been witness to alot of very coincedentle ( if you believe in it ) events. i see them as signs but believe what ever you like its all good.

I was pretty pissed at the end of the race because of how I finished, but I was pretty blown away when I saw I just happened to finsh 21st. I have never finshed in that position before and never since. Anyway HAIL # 21 and hail to the REdskins! i hoped you enjoyed sharing in a cool moment like that.
