Dockery Cut:
Just heard it on NFL radio -- will work on finding a link. Would you give him a decent contract to have him come back? I know I would!
|
Re: Dockery Cut:
Yes!
|
Re: Dockery Cut:
Wow, guess they finally realized he wasn't worth that monster deal. I would certainly welcome him back with a more reasonable contract.
|
Re: Dockery Cut:
OMG!!! Yeah get him. Get him. Get him.

Re: Dockery Cut:
Here's the link, looks like Royal is going to be cut too.

Re: Dockery Cut:
Thanks Ruhskins.

Re: Dockery Cut:
Sign him back at @ $2 million a year.
|
Re: Dockery Cut:
Wow this is unexpected.. Like Matty said, I'm more than glad to welcome him back w/ reasonable contract..
|
Re: Dockery Cut:
I'd bet Bugel would like to have Dock back too. Plug him back in at LG and keep Kendall around for depth.
|
Re: Dockery Cut:
Bring him home to LG... so long Pete you played like a warrior.

Re: Dockery Cut:
I think acquiring Dockery at a reasonable price would help us big time. He's not ancient like the rest of our line, and after being cut I don't think he's in a position to ask for much $$. I think this can allow us to get a LB in the draft with the first round pick, and/or add youth to the line with the rest of the picks.

"Reasonable price" is subjective. I'm no expert, but he one of the better o-linemen currently available (certainly better than a Stacey Andrews). I imagine he'll get a decent payday somewhere with all the cap room available around the league. And I would like to see Dock back in D.C. by the way. |

"Dockerey had a subpar year in 2008 and was not dominant enough, particularly in pass protection". I go to Bills games. he played less than subpar. he may be 28 but will be 29 by season opener. I would'nt be to excited to get him back but he's still young enough to bounce back so yes. 3.5M |
Re: Dockery Cut:
Problem is he could be in line for another pretty big payday though…any halfway competent lineman under 30 seems to break the bank these days.
