Jason Taylor back to the Miami Dolphins..?

I'm sure he would like to finish his playing days in Miami. If this where to happen...it would burn just a little more about his lack of product last season and yes mostly due to injury. But the lost draft picks....OUCH! Especially the second rounder this year.

Although it’s widely believed in NFL circles that the relationship between the Miami Dolphins and veteran defensive end Jason Taylor eroded to the point of no return last year, the coldness has apparently thawed.
According to Armando Salguero of the Miami Herald, Taylor and V.P. of football operations Bill Parcells have mended fences to the point where Taylor potentially rejoining the Dolphins after spending last season with the Washington Redskins following a high-profile trade is no longer out of the question.
Taylor and Parcells reportedly are on good terms now, chatting at a local country club since the trade.
And the Dolphins could definitely use a pass rusher to work in tandem with outside linebacker Joey Porter.
As the article noted, though, Taylor would probably have to commit to attending offseason workouts for a formal reconciliation to be negotiated.
Taylor has also been mentioned as a strong free agent possibility for the New England Patriots. Also, Taylor is friends with Patriots quarterback Tom Brady.

If this happens, I just picture in my head Bill Parcells laughing and giving us the middle finger. Hey, we'll lend you Taylor for one year, 3 sacks, $8M, a few injuries, and your 2nd rounder in '09, and we'll go ahead and take him back when gets healthy, and you'll still have major question marks at DE. Ugh.

Could we eventually get a compensation pick next year if Taylor had a good season?

And a 6th. I could have told you that after we went and traded for him.

Get over it people. If he's not working out in the offseason, I'm sure he'll have the same health problems he had here last season. With that said, he'll probably end up with New England.

Well I'm just glad the Tuna is out of the NFC EAST and I don't really give a rats behind what JT does.

They're giving away a free Jason Taylor replica jersey at Redskins.com with purchase of a Haynesworth replica jersey.

Not working out/health problems next year...? Your basing that on what? This guy is a professional athlete of course he's working out and probably in the best shape of his life after last season, he has something to prove and most all these guys take tremendous pride/put in major hours a day in there training/workout routines. Just wasn't interested in doing it in DC, didn't like the system or Blache or the org. who knows. But he gave up a lot to get outta here.

I look for JT to have an outstanding season wherever he lands!

I just hate to see the SKINS loss that 2nd round pick this year which we could desperately use that pick. And not a killer but a sixth next season. All when the return was so weak! As I clearly understand injuries happen, as life goes..it appeared that JT never liked it or wanted to be in DC, IMO.

Well, it has been reported before that he wouldn't be signed until well into training camps (just like when we got him). And the reason the Redskins wanted to have this "workout" agreement was because they wanted to make sure that he was going to be healthy and ready to go.
