Great read. Good explanation of why Landry isn't playing strong safety

I like these pieces. Gives us some good insight and they seem to be relatively open, at least with their thoughts behind things we wonder about.

Just getting ready to post it. :) Yeah good read. Best explanation about Landry playing FS that I've read yet. The safety position looks pretty good right now. First I've heard about Lendy Holmes, sounds like the guy has some talent.

Good news about Kareem Moore too. Sounds like he could be a nice player this year.

Yes, I'm impressed by what Jackson says about his ball skills. I thought once Moore got up to speed he would be a good one and possibly move Landry to SS. After reading about Landry's strong points I don't think that will happen but COBRA packages should be very interesting. Looks like we're set at safety for many years. All these guys are young. Good starters, good depth. :)

It seems like Laron didn't make many plays last year which made me think it was a waste for him playing FS but I guess he didn't give up many either and that has to say something. Horton seems like a better fit at SS so it looks like we have a pretty good tandem and good depth.
I'll sleep better now.

That was a nice read. I suppose if Kareem Moore shows up the way Steve Jackson thinks he will, we could certainly see more of that Cobra package.

To have 6th and 7th round safeties like Moore and Horton contribute right away like this is a real testament to our scouting department (as Jackson also points out). I'm definitely pleased with these guys.

All of our safeties seem to complement all of our other safeties exceptionally well. Considering that the most tenured member was drafted in 2006, and only Landry went before the 6th round, I'd have to believe that it was by design.

Our secondary is one of the few spots I do not worry about with the Skins. Great coaching and depth. FO should get some credit for that.

Yeah really looking foward to Kareem Moore breaking out. As much as everyone loves to hate our FA, there have been many good draft picks over the years, starting to really see them over last couple years.
