No, but I heard him give a sermon on it online.

Re: Joe's new book "Game plan for life"
I've read some excerpts. I'm not quite as religious as Gibbs. But his ability as a leader of people is something I can only hope to half replicate. I may read the book to learn a little bit more about that.

I'm definitely not into the religion side of things like he is, but I can appreciate how he relates his values and beliefs to everyday life.

This one is kind of hard for you liberals. LOL OK, I have not been to church in about 10 years unless it was for a wedding and I only went then because I knew the reception was going to ROCK.

Today was the first time I ever got to actually sit and spend some time one on one time with Gibbs himself. But I've spent lots and lots of time with people who work or have worked for him and their universal praise of him as a team leader and motivator is almost intimidating. I've honestly never known anyone who commands as much respect as Gibbs does. But part of what he talked about today (and in the past) was how many obstacles he went through and how much he basically had to be humbled before he really started feeling success. It's easy for us to think of Gibbs' life as a glowing success from the start. But his true success didn't really happen the first 40 years of his life. |

There's not a great many people I admire, but Gibbs is definitely one. |

Plan on getting the book today. Looks to be interesting although it looks mainly religious it also appears to be a helpful living book.

Re: Joe's new book "Game plan for life"
He was on Mark Levin's show (mp3 of the interview, 92 min in) few weeks ago pimping his book and apparently you shouldn't co-sign with someone because god won't help you pay back the money if things go sour.

I really want to read it becuase of how much I like Gibbs, but as others have said, I'm not on the real religious side of things, and I have a feeling thats alot of what this book is about.

It is and it isn't. I think it's worth the read |
Re: Joe's new book "Game plan for life"
I also own Racing to Win and Fourth and One, but have only read the latter. What I'm hoping is that all three books aren't too similar. Anyone else read his other books?
