Love the idea. Why not move it to prime time? It's the Super Bowl of the offseason.

I'm sure they'll get more money from advertisers this way. Nothing wrong with that. I've got no problem with Thursday night. Good idea. 7:30p.m. won't keep us up all night.

This is something ESPN went back and forth with with the NFL for months. This ultimately was the best compromise, but still causes a lot of headaches. From a fan's perspective though, I really have no opinion either way.

I guess I don't really have an opinion when it ends up being on, but I have very fond memories of waking up early on Saturday with a jersey, a notebook, a hangover, and a cooler of beer on deck. It's going to be weird watching the first round sober.

Worst. Idea. Ever.

Seriously, this is a horrible idea. I hate it. I can't even really express how disappointed I am in this decision. I knew it was coming, but this is just a retarded decision.

The draft used to be an event I would have people over for, at least a few of my buddies and I would get some beers and hang out all day Saturday (when they still had 3 rounds) and then recover on Sunday by watching the rest of it. Now, it'll be cutting time when I could be watching other stuff. I'm not going to get on board with this decision. It's terrible.

I understand the motivation from a business standpoint, but for a fan, I think it sucks.

Good points. I think there will be a lot of fans who agree with you. It should be a Saturday-party thing.

i work shift work, so i hate this idea. i always watched all day Saturday, and parts of Sunday. now its a crap shoot if i get to watch

I wish it was kept on Saturday but started way earlier. It started at like 4pm this season!!! WTF ... it should start at noon, be wrapping up around 9 (like all three rounds!), just in time to go out or something.
