Anyone see the HOF inductions/ceremony? Did it even come close to what Art and Darrell enjoyed? I hope not.

there was a pretty good turn out for bruce smith and the bills fans cheered it up ok but overall the atmoshere seemed pretty lax compared to last year. there seemed to be alot more empty seats this year as well. all the skins fans that went last year really did an outstanding job of representing the burgandy and gold.

Good!! I want last years induction to be the best ever, including the standing-O for Art. Hopefully that will never be topped off.

Not even close. Bruce Smith wasn't the most loved guy in Buffalo and neither is Ralph Wilson 'til this day. Woodson bounced around during the last leg of his career, so I think a lot of Steeler fans kind of moved on. Especially the way he was giving the Ravens props during his speech. Woodson even acknowledged that finishing as an Oakland Raider was a childhood dream of his. Huh? Can you imagine Russ Grimm and big Jake saying some crap like that when they get inducted?

Then you had Bob Hayes and Derrick Thomas, a great linebacker, inducted posthumously. I remember watching a Skins game as a kid and the network kept switching to the Chiefs game everytime Thomas sacked Dave Krieg. He ended up recording a total of seven for the game!

But I can't imagine another standing ovation or fan turnout topping Art Monk's and Darrell Green's induction anytime soon, if ever. Green and Monk were/are Redskins. It was just a different vibe at last year's ceremony. Probably the best in my opinion.
