I think he does a pretty good job technically. He does have a little of that know-it-all to him but not anymore than Joe Buck has his superiorness. He certainly doesn't entertain like Madden did in any real way. I think CC is going to be considered a failure as a replacement for Madden. While he does a good job in general from a technical standpoint everyone is going to want him to be more entertaining and he doesn't have that.

I was so happy when Madden retired. Then I heard Collinsworth was going to be his replacement. I don't know who's worse.

I hate Cris Collinsworth. I don't feel like he adds anything to his broadcasts and I agree, he seems like a prick.

I don't get it. I don't think he is a prick. He is honest and very knowledgeable about the game. Maybe I have been missing something over the years. He has always been a pretty good announcer and analyst.

Yeah i tend to agree. He knows what he is talking about and he does provide some decent analysis. He just isn't interesting to listen beyond that and I think the color guys need more color than he provides. He's like the Joe Friday of color analysis.

He is really annoying. I guess it is the smugness that I feel, also he is always smiling.

I don't know why that bothers me but it does. I also don't think he is really knowledgeable. He is pretty good, but he was missing stuff last night. For example, when he starts talking about one player he tends to keep on highlighting him while ignoring key elements of the play. He sometimes gives credit where is NOT due.

I prefer Jaws over all.

Jaws annoys the hell out of me. Maybe because he was an Eagle, but I cannot stan him. I would rather watch MNF on mute.

Really?

I guess it is just personal preference then. I think his overall knowledge for the game is great. I love his QB analyst, he has always been fair when I have been listening.

I also don't think he is a Eagles' homer when he is broadcasting. He will throw in a joke here and there about how he thinks the Eagles are great, etc. but overall he is quite fair and smart.

Also I really like to listen to games called by Aikman. Fair, knowledgeable and he is definitely not a homer.

I like CC. I think he does a good job calling games. Entertaining too. Sounds like I'm in the minority though.

Aikman is alright. I don't question Collinsworth's knowledge, just his attitude.
