The funny thing about this hire is Buffalo was the 1st team to fire there coach mid-season they got a early jumpstart but the last one to fill there spot. They got none of the choices they wanted

I guess Cowher recommended him, and someone inside the Bills org. also has ties to Gailey. Kind of a ho-hum hire but then again it's Buffalo.

The Gailey hiring sounds an awful lot like the Redskins circa 2008, when they settled on Zorn for the job. Seems like no one wanted the job...it also seems that Buffalo is destined to finish far behind the Jets, Dolphins and Patriots for a while...
