Best Sports Speeches

I have a project for my speaking class that involves analyzing speeches. Suggestions for the Best sports speeches of all time?

Oh btw they have to be at least 4 minutes long on YouTube

I don't know if movies count, but Al Pacino's speech in Any Given Sunday was up there for me. Youtube "A Game of Inches".

Absolutely. Tebow's speech is huge for me as far as real life goes, and as 12th pointed out, Al Pacino's "inches" speech is totally awesome. Sadly, I can recite it verbatim.

Jimmy V's Espy speech is a solid choice.

Yes, Gehrig and Jimmy V are the best of all time, but they're up there with ALL speeches, not just sports-related (even though they're not really about sports).

Also, I'll add in the "I'm 40, I'm a man!" speech for it's humor value.

Great speech. At that time I had someone close to me who was dying from cancer so that speech really hits home for me.

Jim Mora's playoff rant isn't quite 4 minutes long...

Gehrig's speech is about a minute long, but it definitely worth a listen.

There is Rockne's "Win One for the Gipper" speech.
