Re: Clinton Portis Interview-Part II
He was younger and healthier back then. That was ages ago for a RB. If he's in tip top shape he could recapture some of that.

Re: Clinton Portis Interview-Part II
I miss those days...where Portis could break one at any moment ... sigh.

we really need a young rb to come in and step up this year, thats why i would have loved to take best in the 7th, but oh well, atleast noel devine is coming out next year :) |
Re: Clinton Portis Interview-Part II
do you realize how many of those runs were against the Rams, TB, and Detroit. Watch it looking at the opponents... and like Matty said, alot of those were 4+ years ago. I hope that if we have a stable line our RB production will go up a ton. With our OL and scheme last year its not surprising our RB production was lacking

Re: Clinton Portis Interview-Part II
Cp spends a.......GREAT deal of time explaining how his actions are misunderstood. The level of persecution he must deal with regarding his comments and actions.
SEE, we have no room for...another TO. I truly hope he can shut his mouth, and....remember how to be a successful back once more, cuz this tired ass story has...jumped the shark |
Re: Clinton Portis Interview-Part II
Portis has been coddled here ever since he arrived in that trade. Now, he is no longer coddled, but he's either coming real close to the end of the line or he has already reached it and can now only take what the OL gives him.

Re: Clinton Portis Interview-Part II
God I couldn't read that. It seemed like the first part was ok, but the second part was simply unreadable. Clinton this, Clinton that, this was blown out of proportion, that was blown out of proportion. I can see from the other responses in this thread that I'm not the only one that feels this way.
