What time do you eat dinner at?

I'm grew up used to doing it anytime between 7:30 and 8:30ish. Nowadays it's a lot earlier usually, my roomies are used to doing it at 6:00 to 6:30ish.

How soon after lunch do you eat dinner? Lunch for me is usually a 1:00 to 2:00 deal so maybe that's why, but even when earlier, if alone, I wait until around 8:00 or so.

Where did you learn English at?

:D

My work schedule varies so much. Sometimes it is at 5:00 with the family, some nights later. Last night I ate at almost 10:30 p.m. just as Redskins Nation was coming on after a long day/night at work.

You should have asked "What time do you eat dinner". Whats the "at" for.

We eat around 6:30 but on nights like tonight when I have a late appointment dinner is either fix your own or a plate is waiting for me. On the weekends we usually eat after we but our daughter down around 8:30 and if we are getting drunk it could be 9:30.

You guys got me, but the whole not ending a sentence with a preposition is not actually a rule at all.

Yes it is.

Proper phrasing is "At what time do you eat dinner?" But who TF cares.

I've got kids, so about 6pm. Even when I didn't though, I would always go nuts if I didn't eat by 7pm. My parents liked to serve at 8pm on weekends, that was a major source of angst in the house. My brothers and I would get famished by 7. But as they say, Golden Rule: he who has the gold makes the rules. And my dad had the gold!

I rarely eat breakfast because I get the craps.
Lunch is anywhere from 12-2.
Dinner is anywhere in the 6-8 range.

Preferably around 5:30, usually it's closer to 6:00. I do most of the cooking so it's whenever I farking feel like it.

Weekdays, 5-5:30.

Weekends we're early birds, usually because we don't eat lunch or we have a very light one.

How about this genius line?

"I'm grew up used to doing it anytime between 7:30 and 8:30ish"

That's great you guys can eat dinner at 5:30. I'm not even home until about 7:30. Dinner's usually between 8 and 9.

When I don't have to work, dinner is anywhere between 6-8.

When I do have to work (like today) I eat dinner between 9:30-11. It's awfully unhealthy but seeing as I don't get home from work till 9 and by time I get home, and get things in order it's about 10.. I don't have much of a choice.

aim for :30 but sometimes we're cooking until 7. I have kids so we have to be eating at 7 to hit the 7:30-45 bath/bed time

My son and I eat at 6 and my wife eats when she gets home from work. If my son doesn't eat by 6 he goes ape shit, he is two and when he is hungry look out!

Re: What time do you eat dinner at?

Since we had our girls, we usually eating dinner by 6:30p. I usually eat lunch between 12:30p and 1p, so by dinner time I'm hungry. When it was just my wife and me, dinner was between 7p and 8p for the most part. But if we don't have dinner started by 6p, the girls tend to get cranky.

Eating a earlier dinner can help in weight loss, assuming you are not snacking after wards. Sunday to Thursday I stop eating/drinking at 8 for this reason.

Yeah I try to follow that too, I find I sleep better if I have at least 2-3 hours of no eating before bed.

I haven't had much luck with any of those Fiber One products. They blast right through me, literally. And they give me some bad cramps too.

I'm guessing taking in 50% of your daily fiber in one shot (or whatever crazy % it is) isn't always the best thing.

I dont't have issue with it. A bowl has 35% of daily fiber (probably 20% for me). I'm eating brown rice or whole grain wheat pasta and some chicken for dinner. That combo does wonders for my BM.

Are you drinking protin shakes too? Some food with it gives me the runs.

It's a rule for Latin that does not carry over well to the English language. Many experts have said that it's a dead rule. ha ha ha..

I've gotten away from the protein drinks. I'm drinking organic chocolate milk for a recovery drink after a workout. Less garbage and it sure tastes a lot better.

I recall a study a handful of years ago showing the effectiveness of chocolate milk as a recovery drink, I think that it was more for endurance/high intensity athletes, which the p90x would qualify for obviously.

Yeah, I probably also stay up a bit later than some. I'm trying to work on not eating later on but snacking gets me. If I'm up till 1 or 2 I'm getting hungry after a 6pm dinner.

I live by myself, so I'll pretty much eat dinner whenever. I usually get home around 6 and eat shortly after that.

If I get really into a new video game dinner usually has to wait. When I got Bioshock 2 I think I skipped it for a week straight. Come to think of it, I should sign up for GameFly and use that as a diet plan.

Yeah I'd have to agree. I eat a lot of whole grain products, and I love raw broccoli. That coupled with the coffee I have in the AM... I'm guessing my grumpies rival saden1's. LOL.

Re: What time do you eat dinner at?

I never eat before 7 and never after 930 somewhere in their. Now on a drinking night all that gets thrown out the window, Ill easily be eating dinner cooking breakfest and microwaving lunch all at once. Trust me the next day there is no need for fiber.
