Pretty big that 980 snagged him from 106.7, in my opinion.

Yeah I woke up to a crapload of new tweets about this. Quite the role jump for him with all of the stuff other than just having the show. Chris has had a solid year and definitely deserves this, just interesting that Danny and crew wanted him and gave him free reign reportedly.

Wonder who 106.7 The Fan will turn to now as their Redskins' source. Russell's had a few missteps (but who hasn't) but he's been a solid reporter this past year for sure.

I'm betting Jason Reid will replace him as the Redskins source. They've been having him on here and there filling in for different folks.

good point, i think he was even on lavar and chad's tv show. russell was pretty damn good sucks he is going to 980 i can't do am in my truck the sound quality is awful

So Grant Paulsen, the Boy Wonder, is the new Redskins beat reporter for 106.7 The Fan. Good for him. He's worked hard since he was like 9 to build a reputation as a sports reporter, even though he's like 20 years old or something like that....

Phil Simms went off on him once, well jokingly. GP wasn't around for it actually, but still it was pretty funny.
