Sad to hear. Before there was a Ronnie Lott or Sean Taylor, Tatum was the man to fear when you saw him coming after you. How ironic that he died 3 years after Stingley died, both somewhat young.

Sean could really hit, but I would take a shot from Sean over Jack Tatum anyday. Sean could bruise or break some ribs, but Tatum would break you clean in half.

my pops gave me a shirt with the picture of him standing over Darryl on it... from what i've seen he was a bad bad man, heard he was a nice guy off the field as well... RIP
