Lavar & Michael Vick Get Owned on Pros vs Joes
Yea, thats right 3 guys off the street beat Michael V., Lavar, and Isaac Bruce on Pros vs Joes. It was about the most lack luster performance I have ever seen from the pros over the years of watching. Lavar kept talking about jacking someone up but he barley landed a hand on any of the joes. If anyone calls into Lavars show ask him what happened and why he let some street boys run all over him. Think MV is still in the NFL and I'm sure his coaches loved seeing this and to think he is the Eagles back up QB.

I watched this last night. Man oh man.
Lavar looked awful. Vick looked terrible. Isaac Bruce has still got it. They came across liked they just showed up and kind played around then got serious when they realized they were getting beat. Vick also talked a lot of smack, which i wasnt a fan of. You dont celebrate or talk tough when you beat a Joe. You celebrate when you beat a Pro. |

Darn, missed it...those are a couple of NFL guys I could root against.

Last night I actually started watching because I figured at some point Lavar would jack up one of the Joes but he never came close. |

Okay, ive only seen the show a few times, and i just returned to the 21st century because i got cable tuesday. Lavar definitly looked the worst, and could barely wrap people up when trying to tackle. |

Oh jeez, welcome to 2006. |
Re: Lavar & Michael Vick Get Owned on Pros vs Joes
Lavar shouldn't have been on the show. It embarrassed him. And I say that out of respect to who he was, because he is now a shell of his former self. He has put on a terrible amount of weight since leaving the NFL.
He is obviously still hampered by his career ending injuries suffered in that motorcycle crash in 2007. (Broken Forearm, Broken Femur, Broken lower vertebrae). I remember when there was buzz in 2008 that he was going to try an NFL return, but after seeing that, he has NOTHING left. But to be fair, the "joes" were all former college players, so its not like he was competing against amateurs. I bet Lavar could still lay the average guy flat.... |

LOL I know what your saying but the whole point of the show is to take the guys who think they can play but did not make it and put them up against people who did make it to the pros. |

The league was done with him before that crash, whether he wanted to admit it or not. |
