So, this comes from a Cowboys source, but the article claims to look at all the drives where the teams had their 1st string in. The article itself reads very well, and has some interesting Stats. Until, of course, the last paragraph where they admit that it's just numbers and doesn't predict regular season performance.

Nonetheless, interesting read for stats guys.
