It's F'ing Rams week!
I know, doesn't quite carry the same bite as Cowboys or Texans week, but still a big game in that it's one the team can't overlook or take lightly.
So if you're tired of the Campbell, Haynesworth, Jackson talk, which I know I am, let's talk about the Rams game! What sayeth... ah never mind |
Re: It's F'ing Rams week!
They've got a rookie QB with a bad o-line. Haslett better tighten up and confuse this rookie. We should win this game but the Rams have given us trouble over the years. They had better not be over confident.

I won't go too much into detail, but "F'ing Rams Week" means something completely different in Pennsylvania.
Anyways, looking forward to proving we were right not to pursue Bradford...Cutler too in a few weeks. |

St. Louis is 1-5 in its last 6 games when playing at home against us, and we've won 12 of the last 17 meetings. The Rams have lost 5 straight games going back to last year. They should not be a problem. Last year's 9-6 win was an embarrassment on our part...didn't even feel like a win, but that Redskins team is gone. |
Re: It's F'ing Rams week!
Just gonna throw out some (wishful) predictions:
We will not have a FG miscue. Our OL will not pick up and then fumble the ball with less then 2 minutes to go in the half We will not play down to our opponents level. We will score more than 24 points We will run for 100+ yards In some new and unexpected way, the Skins will give me a heart attack before the end of the game. (ok this is not a wishful prediction, but one based on past performance) |
Re: It's F'ing Rams week!
I think DMac is going to continue to light up the league this game.
Maybe we do some running game work as well. Dhall pick this week LL another sack and 10 tackles |

Re: It's F'ing Rams week!
This game will be over by halftime just like it should have been last week! Sam Bradford is the real deal and will be a superstar BUT he is just a rookie and against an experienced D like we have, he will struggle. I'm concerned about Steven Jackson because he's had a solid start this season. Actually STL could be 2-0 if it wasn't for dumb miscues late in games. As far as we go, our pass game should dominate again because STL really has no pass rush and their secondary is suspect.. 300 YARDS FOR Mcnabb this week and skins win 28-7

Re: It's F'ing Rams week!
I think we'll play a great game after failing to close it out against Houston. We SHOULD win by double digits.

Re: It's F'ing Rams week!
I think Haslett should let the front 4 or 5 rush Bradford & see if they can generate enough pressure. He can still do that while giving some different looks, bring someone from the inside occassionally, etc. Then hit him w/safety or corner blitzes to create big plays.
We've seen too many games where a rookie qb or othewise journeyman has a big day on the skins. I don't think he's going to be scared, but he should be confused by day's end. |
Re: It's F'ing Rams week!
Don't take the Lambs lightly. The Redskins defense still has not shown the ability to close out games. Week one would have been a lost if not for an obvious holding penalty. The Rams are playing at home and Bradford is the real deal. The Redskins have major holes in the secondary as Matt Schaub exposed. Steven Jackson is a beast and the Cowboys demonstrated that you can run off tackle against the 3-4. The Redskins need to tighten up their defense and continue to score points. They also need to find the running game. I will be at the game, cheering on the Skins. Hopefully, like in years past, we will be singing HAIL TO THE REDSKINS as the Lamb fans file out of the stadium.

Re: It's F'ing Rams week!
I expect a serious ass kickin this weekend. 30+ Redskins to like Rams 13 score. This game will be a pretty good indicator. On the road, after a devestating loss should let us know the direction of the team, if we struggle and lose its going to be a long season.
