Browns' Butch Davis steps down

They will sell this as a "mutual decision", but he was fired. The Browns will be honoring the full four years of his deal, according to the team president. That doesn't happen to midseason quitters.

Did he step down? Or did he get canned? I thought he got fired..

So much for being 'their' man.

And after scoring 48 points too (won't mention the 58 against them :D)

he was a control freak who didn't have the answers that he thought he did... better luck in the college ranks...
