I am dumb o nthis so please help but if you streaming a video you should be using less then a download, correct?
I believe streaming uses more. A download is simply a file transfer and doesn't require much validation. Streaming requires more additional data sent along with the ongoing video stream to ensure proper buffering and continuous play.

I am just going to use tether my phone to my laptop, and run an Ethernet cable to my XBOX. Unlimited data son.

That's great but have you tried gaming over a mobile network?

No problems, I use to play CS on the PC with a 56K modem. It's not about the enemy jumping frames and spazing out like a Japanese cartoon. You have to be one with Force.

That was the days of everyone having 200 ms ping...I would imagine yous 100+ ms ping will have a tough time against folks sporting 5 ms ping.

Exactly! It's a continous cycle have data packets being sent which eats up bandwidth. Before we upgraded our DSL at work, we used to have to restart our router, because people would be listening to internet radio and hogging all of the bandwidth.
