Titans to either trade or release Vince Young
He's got to have some trade value. Doubt he gets straight up released.

No thanks!!

Re: Titans to either trade or release Vince Young
No one will trade much for a player that's going to be released. I will be shocked if they get anything better than a 5th rounder.

Re: Titans to either trade or release Vince Young
Someone will give up a pick for him...just want him to stay away from DC.

Re: Titans to either trade or release Vince Young
2nd time someone else and I have been making thread about the same time.. whoops
guess someone was able to talk some sense into Adams, not that I think that Vince Young can't be a good QB |
Re: Titans to either trade or release Vince Young
I like Fisher a lot, but I think players are starting to tune him out. After so many years it's inevitable. I would have moved him out, but with Heimerdinger's cancer there's no obvious successor. I think if the threat of a lockout weren't there, Adams may have gone in a different direction

AH for Young. Why not?

Re: Titans to either trade or release Vince Young
I'll pass.

Re: Titans to either trade or release Vince Young
I would give a ham sandwich for Haynesworth!!!! And I was one who thought he would still contribute something after the off-season antics.

Re: Titans to either trade or release Vince Young
Damn 2 Big long time no see...
I would give VY a chance ONLY if we can get him in FA for chump change... Shanny made Plummer a winner, and Young has some rare talents.. He played great in a couple games this year especially in Dallas. Re: Titans to either trade or release Vince Young
Yeah, he has some growing up to do, but he's a young QB with some upside. Is he better than anything we have now? I say yes.

Re: Titans to either trade or release Vince Young
It is funny as Jake Plummer is exactly what I see when I see VY! I personally don't want him but if cheap and a stop gap till we can load up on other talent elsewhere... do it! He was a starter and with Sexy Rexy we would have 1 whole starter. We could go 8-8 with either but with 3 new starters in other positions. The 3 starters would be from the draft when we trade down... slowly get better so we can stay good for a while! Damn I miss the winning Redskin days! My kids don't think the Redskins have ever won...till they watch the super bowls memories on NFL Network!
I read everything on this site all the time...I just don't always have the time to write. |
Re: Titans to either trade or release Vince Young
He is a complete idiot...no thanks. Give me a qb who can think and read defensive coverages any day over a great "athlete"

In this case would we rather draft say a Cam Newton instead? |
