Wouldnt mind seeing him next to Laron in the secondary. A more reliable option than Bob Sanders, and really a guy in his prime where Sanders appears past his prime. Get it done Bruce Bruce

Don't get excited guys....I don't think this guy is going anywhere....just my opinion...but I think he will end up staying with the Rams...wouldn't be suprised if the cowboys went after him to help out their new defensive coordinator

Well then Danny needs to fuel up "Redskins 1" so Mr Allen go get there first. We sure could use a few quality free agents to gel with this team. OJ to DC!

I'd rather give Kevin Barnes a shot.

Bad days for safeties indeed, the Texans released their FS Eugene Wilson. I liked what Scouts Inc. had to say about him

"Grade: 65 | Key
Comment: Wilson has been a starter for pretty much his whole career. He signed with the Texans before the 2008 season and has given Houston a good leader and field general in their secondary. He is a bit undersized for the position but brings excellent instincts and a good knowledge of the defensive scheme. Wilson is more effective in coverage than he is in run support, but he is a willing tackler on run defense. He has excellent route recognition and does a good job of reading the quarterback to get a jump on the ball. He will get overpowered to the ball by bigger receivers but won't back down from any challenge."

I still think that Barnes should be given a shot, but I think a guy like Wilson could be brought as a back up and insurance.

Maybe we should have a mega Free Safety Free Agents thread. LOL.
