PFT: Dan Snyder says he doesn’t want to be involved in football operations
Music to my ears. Even funnier to see Dan shoot one across the bow at Vinny.

I don’t want to be involved,” Snyder said on NBC Washington this week, via DC Sports Bog. “I enjoyed this draft probably more than any draft we had, because these guys worked so hard at preparation. It’s very different than Vinny Cerrato, their structure, and I can tell you that I thought the trades and the moves that Bruce [Allen] made to accomplish what he accomplished was really remarkable.”
Video of the interview: Candid Snyder on 12 Years' Ownership | NBC Washington |

No big surprise but it's nice to hear it straight from the source.

OH NO...that can't be true! Jerra'.......ehr Dan calls ALL the shots..
Nice to read! |
Re: PFT: Dan Snyder says he doesn’t want to be involved in football operations
Seriously, it was Kiss Ass Vinny that was the problem. Yeah Danny was involved, but I am betting that was more Vinny saying "Well Gosh Dan, You are soooo brilliant, what do you think??" then Snyder saying "I have to run this team!"

Re: PFT: Dan Snyder says he doesn’t want to be involved in football operations
We hope you don't want to be involved in football operations either. Maybe he is finally waking up and seeing what it takes to build a contender.

Do you mean now, or then, Mr. Snyder?

Re: PFT: Dan Snyder says he doesn’t want to be involved in football operations
I believe sometimes Dan gets a shitty wrap based on past issues. That being said, he was not going to get away from that impression until Vinny was gone and a true GM was hired with a coach that has the same authority that Marty and Joe had. I hope Dan does do exactly what he says, sits back and signs the checks. Hate to say it, but Pats, Eagles, Ravens, Colts, G-men....all the really successful teams have a blue print of doing things and its been successful in having those teams compete every year. I am willing to have a couple rebuild seasons if it gets us to the level of those teams as far as competing every year and going to playoffs every year.

I guess the key is will the fans and front office be willing to put up with a season or two of rebuilding? I hope so and at least this year the team is in full rebuild mode. Sent from my Samsung Epic 4G using Tapatalk |

Talk about a team that was in major need of a true rebuild.

The time to buy Microsoft stock was in 1986, not now. Google, it's starting to get rather late as well. But hmm, maybe folks should buy Facebook stock when the make their IPO. |

But hmm, maybe folks should buy Facebook stock when the make their IPO.
Facebook seems like it has similar potential to that of Google where it started at a $100 and worked it's way up to $700 before the crash where it fell to $300. However I would be more inclined to buy a Twitter stock as I think Twitter has more "upside" lol. Man we should start a stock thread. |
