Yay for Leonard Pope. Good dude.

Yay for positive NFL news, too.

Anyone who saves a child is a hero in my book. :)

That's an amazing story and a very fortunate young man.

I'm not trying to take anything away from the positive of this story, because it is a positive and great thing that leonard did, but how the hell was pope the only one that knew how to swim at that whole party? I feel like that has to be a misprint. Clearly there were parents around if the mother of the child whose birthday it wasn't saw her own child drowning and leonard was also there.

nevermind. this is the article I read. The article in the op makes more sense. I can't believe nobody responded. Good for Leonard for stepping up.

*two thumbs up*

Good to see some players doing good things during this downtime.

You think its odd that no one stepped up but maybe the people there couldn't swim well or were in shock.

Either way cool stuff. Gotta think if this lockout wasn't in place, Pope may have not been in GA and we wouldn't have this good headline.

That's not strange at all and we had 4 people die here last year from the same family. It was a case of one trying to save the other and none of them could swim. If your parents don't swim there is a good chance they don't like the water and they are not going to know how to teach the children to swim.

I admired him as a player and as a human being, he was like the Art Monk of the Chiefs personality wise.
