Gotta feel bad for the guy. I am just thankful it wasn't one of ours. |

Not just their best CB, but their best DB.
Well, we all get treated to the Aaron Ross show now. I'll be tuning in. |

Don't wish injuries on opposing players, but if the time was ever right for the 'Skins to bring their A game against the Giants, it'd be in week 1.

Geez that's their 3rd corner down this year.

not only that, but they're without two starting defensive lineman from last year. Osi and Barry.

That defense is still very talented up front, but injuries and poor drafting is making that pass defense trend towards ugly. Their only good players in the back seven are Michael Boley and whatever Kiwanuka and Kenny Phillips have developed into. That's just not very good, by any stretch. I don't think we're good enough to challenge for the NFC East title, but there's definitely room for an up-and-comer to make noise this year. In other words, the path to a surprise playoff berth is there, so long as the Redskins can stay out of their own way. |

No Kevin Boss or Steve Smith either...but maybe Devin Thomas!

Coupled with the fact that they didn't really do anything in the offseason ... Eli is really going to have to step up and put that team on his shoulders. Curious to see if they can match their 10 wins from last season.

I saw that kickoff return.. wait, is that the same dev... oh.
I forgot he went there. too bad he can't play WR, but he looked good as a returner. desmond howard redux anyone? |

LOL...who? Anytime you lose a guy who gets at least 5 int's and leads the team in tackles is a bad time, someone just needs to step up.Don't be surprised to see the Giants go after AS in Philly. |

.....they will look into it. |
Re: Giants CB likely out for season with torn ACL vs Bears preseason MNF game.
Tripp, I don't think the Giants front seven is anymore talented than the Redskins at this point. The only thing separating us from the better front sevens in the NFL is playing time together.
