Not very often you see young talented, 2 time Pro Bowl safeties hit the streets. Wonder what the deal was with the Pats cutting him. Making too much money? Declining play? Other players stepping up? I don't want to bring him in but I think he'll garner plenty of interest.

Shoot, do some digging into why he was released and make a decision from there. If it was just $ matters we should at least play with the idea of getting him if the price isn't too steep. We are razor thin in the DB.

Bobbie Williams suspended 4 games for using a banned substance. It also says the Bengals put Adam Jones on the PUP list and he'll be out for the first 6 games. I was under the assumption you can't put players on the PUP list unless it's at the beginning of training camp?

John Parker Wilson of the Falcons and Tommie Harris along with Chester Taylor are all cut. JPW is a great backup QB if you ask me.

If the player has not practiced or been in camp it is allowed.
