Hell no.

Re: Laron Landry - Redskin for life?
we need to re-sign him. if we dont, it just opens up another huge hole in this team.

Re: Laron Landry - Redskin for life?
Landry is a bag of upper body muscle.
But he is hot a high caliber safety. I'm not even sure if he is a medium caliber safety. He's an athlete but hes not a smart one. He's not a game changer. He doesn't make big plays. He's injury prone. If his contract is up let him go we can do better. |
Re: Laron Landry - Redskin for life?
I think they'll resign him if he gets back to 100%.

They can't be so stupid to let him walk away, at least trade him if it's possible after they franchise him. |
Re: Laron Landry - Redskin for life?
Don't break the bank for him but he's a valuable piece to the defense when healthy.
|
We gotta start keeping our players. If the price is a reasonable deal that fits what he's done. Sign him and cross that off the list.

Re: Laron Landry - Redskin for life?
I definitely dont think hes worth a franchise tag, but im all for bringing him back i mean were not going to find anyone better then him for his spot and our safety position is already pretty weak. Im wondering if he just needs to pop his acl and get it fixed for good though

Yeah exactly. Just ask Carlos Rodgers aka the number 3 interception leader in the league.... PRIOR to his game tonight. |
Re: Laron Landry - Redskin for life?
I'd let him walk if we're looking at top 5 safety dollars, otherwise you gotta keep your own. It's just how it has to be.

Re: Laron Landry - Redskin for life?
Don't overpay for this guy. He hasn't shown enough to be worthy of being kept for the big bucks like Chris Samuels was. His Achilles better be fixed up right as well.

Carlos Rogers refused to agree to a reasonable deal and got his panties all wet that we didn't give him a sympathy contract. Overpaying for players is overpaying for players, regardless of whether that player was one of your own or not. |

Re: Laron Landry - Redskin for life?
Imagining our team with no more of Area-51 just seems impossible to me..
