Commercial Volume!
Hurray! One of my pet peeves has been solved (hopefully). There's nothing worse to me than watching TV and when a commercial comes on having it be unbearably loud. Legislation just passed that forces the volume of the show and the commercials be the same. I'm sure there will be some ways around that for the savvy media companies, but I'm happy.
I know a lot of people will complain that our elected officials have more important things to do -- but this is a simple and straight forward law that will effect most of us at some point. I like it. Re: Commercial Volume!
No more scrambling for the tv volume button...yay.

Re: Commercial Volume!
Everytime a comercial comes on my wife has the chance to yell at me to turn down the TV and are you deaf. It will be interesting to see what new things she finds to yell at me about.

If she cant find anything new, try these.... Always hang your coat on the kitchen chair. Frequently forget to take your cholesterol medicine. Leave wet shower towels on the bed. Drive her car and leave it in the driveway with 1/16 left in the tank. Use up the last of the ketchup and dont update the shopping list. Keep your beer where she normally keeps the milk. Tell her she doesn't need a watch because there is a clock on the stove. |
Re: Commercial Volume!
Aren't most TVs these days supposed to have a feature that prevents the sound from shooting up? Funny I've never seen it actually work. If an iPod can do it why can't a TV?
