oh well |
Re: Landry to IR
Surgery was recommended last year too...
|
Re: Landry to IR
If he wants a new deal, he'd better get that surgery
|
Re: Landry to IR
Should have happened a long time ago. Get surgery and come back ready for training camp.
|
Re: Landry to IR
This is getting old.
|
Re: Landry to IR
Fitting end to the season for him. Let's hope he's smart enough to do the surgery.

Re: Landry to IR
This is getting annoying.

Re: Landry to IR
anyone think that the more and bigger muscles an athlete has, the more and greater the chance they can get a muscle/ligament/soft tissue injury?
Just seems to me the more ripped a dude is, the more likely he'll tear a muscle, achillies etc. some of these guys seem maxed out to me. |
Re: Landry to IR
I didn't realize the franchise tag for a safety was only around $6M per. That's basically what he cost us this year...

Herschell Walker was an exception to that though, he stayed pretty healthy & had a very long career. In general it's always seemed the guys that had a little body fat were more durable. |

I think that makes the most sense on how to deal with Laron and the contract. Clearly he has not proven with injury and play the last couple years to demand a large, guarantee contract. Its in the best interest of the organization to use the tag on Laron to clearly see what we have going forward. 6-7 mil one year deal is little risk. |

imo one of the the most overrated players of all time |
Re: Landry to IR
Should of taken care of this last year, should be able to sign him for a lot less now.

For example, if a person spends all of his time on his quads, and no time on his hamstring muscles, it's going increase injury to those weaker hamstrings. |
Re: Landry to IR
actually , it's not very important when this time . just more serious in this injury attack ****ing seaon
