you know, russians HAVE turned lead into gold... inside the shielding in some of their reactors... (not on purpose). I think they ran the math and figured the price gold had to hit before it'd be profitable, but I can't remember the details... |

They did but it is unstable, loaded with radioactive isotopes and it decays back into stabilized lead whilst releasing its radioactivity. |
